Your first step is to call/email us to schedule your initial appointment.
Your initial session provides an opportunity for you to build rapport with your clinician and provide background about yourself and the reasons you are seeking counseling.  Your clinician will be able to answer your questions regarding services, confidentiality and what to expect in therapy. With your best interests in mind, you will decide together what is best for you.
People seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons. As individuals, we face feelings and memories from our own unique histories. At 1st Priority Institute for Better Living, we understand your uniqueness and work with you to break through personal barriers that are holding you back from where and who want to be.
You’ll experience better living.

Individual therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is a process through which you work one-on-one with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore your feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of your life that you would like to change, better understand yourself and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
